humanity in liberia

We the citizens of Nimba County, Republic of
Liberia, residing in the United States of America, in the State of
Minnesota, out of continuous frustration and extreme disappointment
over the killing of Liberians and Nimba citizens in particular over
the years hereby, resolve to express our concern over these wanton
killings and destruction of properties. For the past years, we have
followed developments in Liberia, yea Nimba County and the callousness
with which the Government of Liberia handled issues.

MODEL Vows to Burn Nimba Down, turn it into dust
August 21, 2003
Reports coming from crying citizens in Liberia say
that, with a two-front approach, the LURD and MODEL
rebels are attacking Nimba County, with Nimba between
the two groups. Hundreds of innocent Nimba citizens
have been killed in these attacks, the sources said.
