Fellow Nimba Citizens:

The UNICCO Gerogia Chapter cordially invites all UNICCO Chapters, friends, well wishers and the geneal public to her installation program scheduled for Saturday February 26, 2005. The venue for the ocassion is the Comfort Inn & Suite located at 5985 Oakbrook Parkway, Norcross, Georgia. The event begins at 7: 00 PM and will be followed by an anuagural ball that will last up to the morning hours.

Officers to be installed are: Mr. Karneh Tour, Chairman; Mr. Jacob Diama, Co-Cairman; Mr. Roland Dokie, Treasurer; Mr. Edward Gaye, Comptroller; Rev. Dr. Peter Nehsahn, Chaplain; Mr. John Beglar, Assembly member and Mr. Saye Wonzon, Assmebly member.

Nimba was not Responsible for Liberian Civil War (UNICCO Press Release)

UNICCO condemns in the strongest possible terms, anyone or any statements that would indict or blame Nimba County for “the Liberian civil carnage and “the destabilization of West Africa”. UNICCO further resents any such insinuation that ignores the factual circumstances leading to the war and instead, uses Nimba County as a “scapegoat” for selfish interest
